There is choice of two Wedding Reception Halls with full catering and bar facilities.

The Oak panelled Jury Room built in 1912 can accommodate 85 to 100 Guests and is an ideal location for smaller receptions.

The Main Hall added to the Guildhall in 1973, has a stage for musicians and entertainment. The Main Hall can accommodate 190 to 200 Guests, ideal for larger receptions.

The commercial kitchen and facilities can be made ready for your own caterers. The bar area, adjacent to the function rooms, is available for your own chosen licensee. You can also provide your own drinks as the Guildhall also has a premises licence.

Function Room Facilities

• The Main Hall & Bar can accommodate 190 to 200 Guests
• The Jury Room can accommodate 85 to 100 Guests
• Lift available to all reception rooms
• There are 200 chairs and associated 6ft by 4ft and 4ft by 2ft tables
• Retractable stage in Main Hall
• Sound control in Jury Room and Main Hall to control volume of music
• Fridges in the bar area

Kitchen Equipment includes:

• People usually wish to hire their own crockery but there are 200 cups, saucers and side plates available, if required.
• New large gas catering cooker (suitable for up to 200 people)
• 3 fridges plus small freezer
